Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to support our catering operations — perfect for someone who thrives behind the scenes, adapts quickly, and keeps things running clean in dynamic event environments. You’ll be responsible for washing plates, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans using both industrial machines and manual methods. You’ll assist in unpacking, setting up, and operating mobile dish stations in temporary kitchens or prep tents. You’ll handle deep-cleaning duties such as floor mopping, drain flushing, and wiping down equipment and shelves. You’ll assist cooks and prep staff by keeping clean tools and containers available when needed. You’ll collect dirty trays from return stations, stacking and sorting them for safe and efficient washing. You’ll follow safety and sanitation standards even in improvised or limited-space setups. You’ll be trained to operate commercial dish machines and follow health department safety guidelines. You’ll be trained to operate mobile dish machines, water heaters, and sanitizers specific to field service.

Basic Qualifications:

• Clean dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers or by hand.
• Be reliable and punctual—your role is essential to the kitchen’s flow and cleanliness.
• Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Sort and stack clean dishes properly for use by kitchen and service staff.
• Scrape food waste, rinse items, and load dish racks efficiently without breakage.

Preferred:

• Willing to notify staff of broken items, clogs, or machine issues promptly.
• Familiar with drying, polishing, and restacking for buffet setups, events, or fine-dining service.
• Able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, or holidays based on kitchen needs.
• Organized in sorting dishes, utensils, and kitchenware by type and material for efficient cleaning and drying.
• Pays attention to detail to ensure every plate, cup, and utensil meets cleanliness standards.
