Description:

We’re looking for a Film Director who knows how to turn a vision into a visceral experience — someone who leads with intent, collaborates with empathy, and crafts stories that resonate on screen and beyond. You’ll be the creative force behind our productions, responsible for translating scripts into compelling visual journeys across genres and formats. We expect you to collaborate closely with writers, cinematographers, production designers, and editors to ensure visual and thematic coherence. You’ll guide performances on set, bringing out depth, tension, and truth from both seasoned actors and emerging talent. You’ll work closely with DPs and production designers to craft a distinct visual style that enhances the narrative without overpowering it. We’ll count on your ability to unify a diverse crew under one creative vision, while remaining open to input and adaptation. You’ll be involved in casting, location scouting, shot listing, and building a cohesive creative team around the project. You’ll be responsible for managing rehearsals, communicating the emotional beats of each scene, and adapting quickly when things shift in the moment. You’ll oversee post-production from assembly through grading and final sound mix, sculpting the final arc scene by scene.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay deeply involved in every stage of production—from first draft to final cut.
• Translate a script or concept into a compelling visual story with clear artistic vision.
• Ensure the film stays true to its core themes, message, and emotional arc.
• Lead the creative direction of the film, making decisions on tone, pacing, casting, and style.
• Watch daily footage (dailies) to catch issues early and ensure continuity.

Preferred:

• Open to directing both live-action and hybrid/multimedia content depending on the project.
• Comfortable pitching concepts, securing funding, or working within client or studio guidelines.
• Familiar with directing across genres such as drama, comedy, documentary, or experimental.
• Experienced in directing for different platforms — cinema, streaming, branded content, or social.
• Wants to grow into roles like Creative Director, Showrunner, or Studio Head.
