We’re looking for an Online Course Assistant who’s equal parts organized, empathetic, and tech-comfortable — someone who can keep a virtual classroom running without breaking a sweat. You’ll be the go-to person for both students and instructors, making sure lessons go live on time, assignments are tracked, and nobody feels lost in the digital shuffle. You’re the type of person who catches a missing assignment link before anyone notices and sends out reminders that somehow feel friendly, not nagging. You’ll make sure deadlines are clear, content is accessible, and no one gets lost in the shuffle. Your inbox will be full of questions, and you’ll love replying with clarity, encouragement, and just the right amount of detail. We’re looking for someone who can stay on top of multiple tasks at once, troubleshoot basic issues, and offer encouragement when learners need a little boost. You’ll also monitor student progress and flag anyone who might be falling behind so we can step in early. Whether it’s organizing resources, answering FAQs, or ensuring the course flows smoothly from week to week, your work will have a big impact on student success. You know that online learning doesn’t have to be boring, and you’re excited to bring a little personality to every message you send.
Basic Qualifications:
- Keep course resources organized, labeled, and easy to navigate for a smooth learner experience.
- Be present in discussions to keep momentum going and encourage thoughtful participation.
- Share suggestions with instructors on how to improve clarity, pace, or engagement.
- Troubleshoot common issues related to login, course access, or file downloads.
- Gather testimonials, ratings, or success stories from students for marketing purposes.
Preferred:
- Enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth student learning experience.
- Enjoys helping others stay organized, on track, and motivated through digital tools.
- Can proofread or lightly edit content for clarity or grammar as needed.
- Reliable with time management and can commit to deadlines or weekly tasks.
