We’re offering a Nanny Internship for someone passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive, playful environment. You’ll start by shadowing experienced caregivers, learning routines, safety practices, and how to handle different age groups. You’ll be taught how to soothe fussiness, read nonverbal cues, and comfort babies during teething or tummy troubles. You’ll be trained to recognize children’s emotional cues, respond calmly to upset behavior, and set gentle boundaries. You’ll assist with homework for older kids while keeping younger siblings safely entertained nearby. You’ll support language development, teach basic manners, and encourage curiosity through conversation and interaction. You’ll learn how to adapt your tone and approach to different ages — from toddlers to early school-age children. You’ll help manage toys, organize children’s belongings, and maintain a clean and child-safe environment. You’ll be shown how to interact warmly and attentively without overstimulation — letting the child lead in their own way.

Basic Qualifications:

• Encourage respectful behavior, emotional expression, and social skills through positive guidance.
• Read books, play games, and offer creative outlets like arts and crafts or music time.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support development, creativity, and learning.
• Adapt to the needs of each child, recognizing different temperaments and learning styles.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, including tidying play areas and washing children’s laundry.

Preferred:

• Values empathy, patience, and trustworthiness in every interaction with children.
• Able to organize creative activities such as crafts, music, games, or story time to stimulate imagination.
• Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or school-aged children in a home or daycare setting.
• Background or interest in early childhood education, family care, or child psychology.
• Willing to accompany children to parks, libraries, playdates, or appointments safely and responsibly.
