We’re seeking Firefighter Trainees who feel a calling to serve their community and protect lives — no experience required, just heart and discipline. You’ll begin training to handle fire, disaster, and medical emergencies with courage and clarity. You’ll work as part of a unit, learning to trust your team and earn their trust in return. You’ll be taught the value of preparedness: checking gear, running drills, and taking every shift seriously. You’ll carry weight — not just equipment, but the weight of responsibility, of urgency, of being needed. You’ll get certified in emergency medical care, because often you’ll be the first one on scene when someone’s life is on the line. You’ll experience moments of quiet before alarms, the rush of the call, and the clarity that comes when action begins.

Basic Qualifications:

• Enter burning structures wearing protective gear to locate and rescue people or pets.
• Communicate clearly with team members, dispatch, and emergency services during missions.
• Help with cleanup, debris removal, and ensuring the area is safe after an incident.
• Support fellow firefighters on the scene and back at the station as a tight-knit team.
• Adapt quickly when conditions change—fires don’t follow a script.

Preferred:

• Capable of safely navigating burning structures, confined spaces, and hazardous areas.
• Physically fit and able to carry heavy gear, climb ladders, and work in extreme heat or smoke.
• Open to ongoing professional development in fire behavior, hazardous materials, or disaster response.
• Background or strong interest in firefighting, emergency response, or public safety.
• Able to remain calm, focused, and decisive under pressure and life-threatening conditions.
