Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Online English Tutor to help students master the English language. You’ll design personalized lesson plans that focus on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, speaking, and writing. You’ll create customized lesson plans to focus on areas such as grammar, vocabulary, writing, and speaking skills. You’ll provide students with feedback on assignments and practice, offering strategies to help them improve their skills. You’ll provide constructive feedback on assignments and during conversations, helping students improve their language abilities. You’ll assess student progress, adjusting lesson plans and techniques to ensure continued development and success. You’ll foster a supportive learning environment, encouraging students to ask questions and engage in conversations. You’ll create a fun and interactive learning environment, using multimedia, real-life scenarios, and games to keep students engaged.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt teaching methods and pacing to suit learners from different backgrounds, ages, or learning styles.
• Maintain clear communication with students (and/or parents) regarding scheduling, cancellations, and expectations.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism—respecting student time and showing up prepared, even across time zones.
• Use a mix of real-life examples, role-plays, and interactive tools to make lessons practical and enjoyable.
• Foster a friendly, encouraging atmosphere that builds student confidence and motivation to speak English.

Preferred:

• Experience preparing students for tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or general conversation practice.
• Comfortable using messaging tools or email to follow up and support students outside class.
• Values patience, clarity, and encouragement as key teaching tools.
• Familiar with CEFR levels (A1–C2) and basic language assessment principles.
• Able to tailor lessons to different levels — from beginner to advanced.

This remote role gives you the flexibility to teach from anywhere while helping students improve their English proficiency.
