Description:

We’re hiring a Cleaner Trainee to support hygiene and safety in a healthcare environment, where cleanliness directly impacts patient well-being. You’ll begin by learning how to clean hotel rooms efficiently — making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, and wiping all surfaces. You’ll be taught how to properly use cleaning tools like mops, vacuums, squeegees, and dusters for different surfaces. You’ll be trained to follow infection control protocols, including the use of approved disinfectants and disposable materials. You’ll learn how to mix and safely handle cleaning chemicals according to workplace safety standards. You’ll learn how to knock, enter, and communicate respectfully with guests when servicing occupied rooms. ) and be taught how to remove and replace it safely. You’ll be responsible for using the right cleaning products on specific materials like glass, wood, and electronics. You’ll help restock supplies like hand sanitizers, soap dispensers, tissues, and disposable bed sheets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt routines during special events, deep-cleaning days, or seasonal shifts.
• Handle sensitive areas with extra care, such as medical rooms, computer equipment, or confidential spaces.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, workspaces, and public areas according to daily schedules.
• Wear appropriate protective gear like gloves or masks as needed for specific tasks.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in restrooms and break rooms.

Preferred:

• Understands how to use cleaning products safely, including proper dilution, storage, and labeling.
• Familiar with using basic cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, brooms, and microfiber cloths.
• Understands the difference between general cleaning, deep cleaning, and disinfecting tasks.
• Capable of identifying maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards during routine cleaning.
• Organized with time management, ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned within the scheduled time.
