Description:

We’re hiring a Cleaner Trainee for night shifts in a shopping mall — a role for someone who enjoys calm, structured work and takes pride in visible results. You’ll start by learning daily cleaning procedures for clinics, exam rooms, corridors, and waiting areas, all under strict sanitation guidelines. You’ll assist in operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, and mopping systems designed for commercial spaces. You’ll be trained to handle trash collection from bins throughout the mall and ensure proper disposal at designated zones. You’ll learn how to mix and safely handle cleaning chemicals according to workplace safety standards. You’ll wear proper protective equipment (gloves, mask, gown, etc. You’ll follow checklists to ensure nothing is missed — including remote controls, light switches, and drawer interiors. You’ll assist in dusting display areas, signage, and decorative elements that require extra care and reach tools. You’ll learn how to spot maintenance issues (like a leaking faucet or broken light) and report them to the supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle sensitive areas with extra care, such as medical rooms, computer equipment, or confidential spaces.
• Adhere to infection control protocols in healthcare, food service, or high-traffic environments.
• Take pride in the small details—clean windows, shiny floors, and fresh smells matter.
• Support a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for staff, visitors, and clients.
• Keep cleaning tools organized and stored properly when not in use.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, or night shifts depending on site requirements.
• Able to handle cleaning tasks in a variety of environments such as offices, schools, hospitals, or hotels.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a janitorial or housekeeping team.
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for others.
• Pays close attention to detail when cleaning surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas.
