We’re hiring Phlebotomist Trainees for night shifts in a hospital setting — no experience required, just reliability, composure, and a readiness to learn under pressure. You’ll be trained to collect blood samples from infants, toddlers, and young children in a way that’s safe, clean, and as stress-free as possible. We’ll teach you how to prepare the space, engage with families, and explain procedures in kid-friendly language. You’ll learn to draw blood using proper technique, maintain sterile procedures, and monitor donors for reactions or discomfort. This job is about skill and safety — but also about gratitude, encouragement, and clear communication. You’ll be taught how to set up collection bags, label samples, and follow strict tracking and storage protocols. Donors may be first-timers, regulars, or nervous visitors — and you’ll learn how to adapt to each interaction with professionalism and kindness. We’ll show you how to handle lab requests, maintain records, and manage your station with professionalism and care. You’ll also learn to handle difficult veins, time-sensitive collections, and how to work efficiently during busy shifts.

Basic Qualifications:

• Draw blood from patients of all ages using safe, sterile techniques.
• Take pride in your role—small vials, big impact on someone’s health.
• Handle difficult draws with patience—whether it’s a child, a nervous adult, or hard-to-find veins.
• Respond professionally to complaints or discomfort from patients.
• Work closely with nurses, lab techs, and doctors to support diagnostics.

Preferred:

• Open to working in outpatient labs, hospitals, mobile units, or long-term care facilities.
• Familiar with infection control, universal precautions, and sharps safety protocols.
• Experience drawing blood from patients of all ages in hospital, clinic, or lab settings.
• Comfortable working with difficult draws, small veins, pediatric or elderly patients.
• Certified or trained in phlebotomy with knowledge of venipuncture techniques.
