We’re offering a Public Relations Specialist Trainee position for someone who’s passionate about communication, storytelling, and building public trust — no experience required, just strong instincts, curiosity, and attention to tone. Basic Qualifications:

• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, responding quickly to both praise and PR crises.
• Collaborate with marketing, social, and leadership teams to align messaging across all channels.
• Use both proactive and reactive PR tactics depending on the situation.
• Craft press releases, media pitches, and official statements that reflect the brand’s tone and values.
• Support events like trade shows, conferences, or charity initiatives with comms planning and on-site PR.

Preferred:

• Willing to assist with community engagement, partnership coordination, or thought leadership content.
• Understands how to manage brand reputation and craft messaging for different audiences.
• Comfortable collaborating with marketing, legal, HR, or executive teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiar with social media strategy and how PR integrates with digital marketing efforts.
• Comfortable using PR tools such as Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, or Google Alerts for media monitoring.
