Description:

We’re looking for a Pastry Decorator who thrives in a fast-paced environment — someone who can keep quality high while handling volume with efficiency, accuracy, and pride in every detail. You’ll design and execute high-end pastry presentations for weddings, luxury events, VIP clients, and upscale retail displays. You’ll work with delicate techniques like hand-painted florals, gold leaf application, sugar sculpting, and advanced fondant modeling. You’ll collaborate with bakers and clients to understand themes, color palettes, and customization requests. We expect you to stay calm under pressure, organized during peak hours, and focused on both beauty and speed. We expect you to bring consistency to even the most intricate finishes — piping lace, layering textures, or placing edible pearls with surgical precision. We expect you to handle delicate components with care and stay focused even under time pressure or large order volume. You’ll photograph your finished work and help showcase it on our social media or website portfolio. You’ll also guide clients on what’s possible (and what’s not), balancing creative ambition with practical execution.

Basic Qualifications:

• Manage decorating timelines to ensure all orders are completed on schedule and ready for pickup or service.
• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and pastries with precision, creativity, and consistency.
• Stay current on trends in pastry art, color palettes, and themed styling.
• Take pride in turning baked goods into edible works of art that wow customers every time.
• Handle delicate materials like sugar flowers or sculpted chocolate with care and precision.

Preferred:

• Comfortable customizing desserts for holidays, weddings, birthdays, or themed celebrations.
• Thrives in creative, detail-focused environments where quality and visual appeal matter.
• Capable of communicating with customers or team members to clarify design expectations.
• Familiar with food safety practices, allergen handling, and maintaining cleanliness in a bakery environment.
• Skilled in using piping bags, fondant tools, edible paints, molds, and stencils to create clean, appealing designs.
