Description:

We’re hiring a Security Guard Trainee who’s observant, respectful, and ready to learn how to maintain safety and order in a professional environment. You’ll begin by learning building routines like monitoring entrances, checking visitor logs, and assisting with after-hours access requests. You’ll assist in greeting residents, answering basic questions, and directing deliveries or guests to the right apartments or zones. You’ll be trained to handle intercom systems, surveillance monitors, and electronic keycard access tools. You’ll learn how to spot signs of forced entry, broken locks, or unusual activity and report them quickly to your supervisor. You’ll receive instruction on how to handle alarms, respond to system alerts, and reset panels when needed. You’ll assist in monitoring noise complaints, elevator issues, or package theft reports with calm professionalism. You’ll be shown how to politely enforce rules like no smoking, no loitering, and keeping walkways clear. You’ll help monitor fencing, exits, and temporary structures for safety and security risks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Write clear incident reports and maintain accurate daily activity logs.
• Treat all individuals with respect while upholding rules and regulations without bias.
• Support evacuations or lockdowns according to emergency preparedness procedures.
• Enforce company policies regarding restricted areas, visitor conduct, or safety regulations.
• Respond diplomatically but firmly when confronting suspicious or unauthorized activity.

Preferred:

• Thrives in disciplined, routine-based work where presence and attention make a real difference.
• Background or interest in safety, law enforcement, military, or public service.
• Wants to grow into roles like Shift Supervisor, Site Coordinator, or Security Operations Manager.
• Valid security license or guard card (if required by local regulations) and familiarity with basic security procedures.
• Understands the balance between enforcing rules and maintaining a calm, welcoming presence.
