Description:

We’re hiring a Cashier who knows how to make people feel welcome — someone who brings a friendly smile, clear communication, and great energy to every shift. You’ll process purchases accurately, handle different payment types, and ensure every customer feels acknowledged and respected. You’ll operate the register, scan items, process payments, and handle returns while keeping everything accurate and efficient. You’ll greet customers warmly, answer basic product or store questions, and make sure they leave feeling appreciated. You’ll assist with returns and exchanges, following store policies and resolving issues calmly and fairly. You’ll be taught how to handle common issues, like price checks or coupon questions, with patience and professionalism. You’ll help with price checks, returns, exchanges, and receipts, always keeping a calm and respectful tone. You’ll help restock small items near the register and make sure the front of the store looks tidy and inviting. You’ll help prepare for opening or closing shifts, counting drawers and making sure your station is ready to go.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support coworkers when needed, whether it's stocking shelves or helping with cleanup.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked with bags, receipt paper, and other supplies.
• Balance friendliness with efficiency—be fast, but never rude or robotic.
• Handle high volumes of transactions with speed and accuracy.
• Stay alert to potential theft or suspicious activity and follow store protocols.

Preferred:

• Familiar with basic customer service practices, upselling techniques, and store policies.
• Able to communicate clearly with coworkers, managers, and customers of all ages.
• Pays close attention to accuracy when scanning items, applying discounts, and processing returns.
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and working weekends, holidays, or closing hours.
• Willing to assist with curbside pickup, online order processing, or express lanes if required.
