Description:

We’re hiring a Public Relations Trainee who’s excited to learn how to manage brand image, engage with media, and tell stories that connect — no experience required, just a love for language and a sharp sense of timing. You’ll help draft media pitches, press releases, and talking points for internal and external use. We’ll teach you how to identify the right journalists, craft story angles, and follow up professionally to land coverage. You’ll support coordination with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to help get the right message to the right people. Expect to support campaign launches, brand announcements, and reactive statements when fast communication matters most. You’ll get to sit in on strategy sessions, helping brainstorm creative ways to get stories noticed. We’ll guide you in handling public feedback and helping brands respond with clarity and professionalism. You’ll help prepare event briefs, coordinate interviews, and write post-coverage recaps that keep stakeholders informed. You’ll be included in team discussions about positioning, timing, and media angles that spark coverage.

Basic Qualifications:

• Craft press releases, media pitches, and official statements that reflect the brand’s tone and values.
• Write FAQs, talking points, and internal comms to support consistent messaging during sensitive situations.
• Maintain a media contact list and update it regularly to reflect current relationships.
• Turn complex company updates into human, headline-worthy stories.
• Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor news, and cultural moments that impact messaging.

Preferred:

• Able to coordinate interviews, press events, and public appearances with journalists or influencers.
• Comfortable collaborating with marketing, legal, HR, or executive teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Enjoys building relationships, amplifying voices, and creating positive public perception.
• Experienced in writing for both B2B and B2C audiences depending on brand goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional tone.
