Description:

We’re looking for a Video Editing Intern who’s ready to jump into the fast-paced, high-volume world of agency content production. You’ll assist with editing episodes, formatting timelines, adding lower thirds, and making dialogue feel tighter and cleaner without losing flow. You’ll help sort through hours of raw footage, cut out filler, balance audio levels, and shape conversations into something engaging and watchable. You’ll cut, trim, subtitle, reformat, resize, and occasionally breathe life into “meh” footage with sharp timing and music instinct. You’ll work with intro/outro templates, apply transitions, insert chapter markers, and align visuals with topic changes. You’ll be in charge of little things that matter: naming files clearly, exporting correctly, and triple-checking timestamps in the show notes. You’re fluent in Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci — and you know your way around After Effects when needed. You’ll help brainstorm angles, titles, first lines, and swipe-worthy thumbnails that boost engagement. You’ll create multiple versions for different platforms — 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok, 1:1 for Instagram, you get the idea. Would I share this?

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow copyright and licensing rules when using music, stock footage, or branded content.
• Adapt to different creative styles—from fast-paced social clips to cinematic reels or corporate explainers.
• Add motion graphics, titles, sound effects, background music, and color correction to enhance visual quality and viewer experience.
• Review footage critically—choosing the best takes and spotting visual or continuity issues before export.
• Ultimately, transform footage into compelling stories that resonate with viewers, support brand goals, and stand out in the feed.

Preferred:

• Willing to suggest creative edits, cuts, or ideas to improve video flow and viewer retention.
• Wants to grow into roles like Senior Editor, Motion Designer, or Creative Producer.
• Familiar with exporting and compressing videos for web, social media, or broadcast use.
• Experience editing short-form and long-form videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or corporate presentations.
• Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback in multiple rounds of revisions.
