Description:

We’re hiring a Clinical Psychologist Trainee who’s ready to explore the therapeutic process from the inside — no previous experience required, just empathy, professionalism, and a deep interest in mental health. You’ll assist in preparing case summaries, organizing patient files, and reviewing psychological literature relevant to active cases. We’ll teach you how to observe client behavior respectfully, listen actively, and recognize emotional cues during sessions. You’ll learn how to document progress, track behavioral patterns, and participate in debriefs with licensed psychologists. Expect to be involved in both individual and group therapy contexts, depending on your supervisor and placement. You’ll gain exposure to a range of cases — from mild anxiety to complex trauma — and learn how each requires a unique approach. We’ll guide you in understanding how therapy is structured — from intake interviews to session planning and progress tracking. You’ll observe how nonverbal cues, silence, and tone shape the therapeutic dynamic. You’ll also observe how different populations — adults, teens, children — require different therapeutic strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respect cultural, gender, and socioeconomic differences in every aspect of your clinical work.
• Conduct risk assessments when clients present signs of self-harm, suicide, or violence.
• Balance a demanding caseload while avoiding burnout through supervision and self-care.
• Recognize when to refer patients to higher levels of care or specialized services.
• Respond to crises calmly and with clear protocols to protect patient safety.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working in clinical, educational, hospital, or private practice settings.
• Willing to engage in supervision, peer review, or continued education to refine clinical skills.
• Capable of handling emotional intensity and crisis situations with calm and clinical judgment.
• Enjoys helping individuals build insight, emotional regulation, and resilience.
• Comfortable working with individuals, couples, or groups across various age ranges and backgrounds.
