Description:

We’re looking for a PR Specialist Trainee who’s excited to help shape public perception, build brand reputation, and tell stories that matter — no experience required, just strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. You’ll help draft media pitches, press releases, and talking points for internal and external use. We’ll train you to spot newsworthy angles, monitor media trends, and time your stories for maximum impact. You’ll support the PR team during product launches, events, and media interviews — ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Expect to participate in real campaigns, from product launches to reputation management efforts. You’ll get to sit in on strategy sessions, helping brainstorm creative ways to get stories noticed. We’ll show you how to handle both positive PR and sensitive communication moments with professionalism and care. You’ll help prepare event briefs, coordinate interviews, and write post-coverage recaps that keep stakeholders informed. You’ll assist in drafting responses to media inquiries, internal FAQs, and statements for public release.

Basic Qualifications:

• Plan and execute PR campaigns around product launches, events, or brand milestones.
• Remember: your words don’t just reflect the company—they shape how it’s remembered.
• Draft bylines, op-eds, and ghostwritten pieces for leadership when needed.
• Support events like trade shows, conferences, or charity initiatives with comms planning and on-site PR.
• Use both proactive and reactive PR tactics depending on the situation.

Preferred:

• Knows how to respond quickly to crises or negative press with clarity and professionalism.
• Willing to help shape talking points, FAQs, and key messaging for leadership or spokespeople.
• Understands how to manage brand reputation and craft messaging for different audiences.
• Organized in managing editorial calendars, campaign timelines, and approval workflows.
• Open to managing influencer outreach or brand ambassador relations when relevant.
