Description:

We’re hiring a Factory Operator to support operations in our metal processing facility — ideal for someone who’s strong, focused, and committed to safety in an industrial environment. You’ll work in one of three shifts — morning, evening, or night — depending on the production schedule and staffing needs. You’ll be responsible for loading raw ingredients, monitoring batching systems, and ensuring proper portion control. You’ll assist in labeling, sealing, and boxing finished goods for shipment while maintaining consistency and speed. You’ll assist in loading raw materials into hoppers, conveyors, or feeder systems and checking that inputs meet specifications. You’ll log data such as quantities produced, materials used, and any downtimes or mechanical concerns during your shift. You’ll record production data, downtime, and any irregularities in digital or paper logs according to company policy. You’ll help detect mechanical issues early by listening for irregular sounds, monitoring screen alerts, or noticing workflow disruptions. You’ll be trained to detect production defects early and report irregularities to team leaders or quality control staff.

Basic Qualifications:

• Document production data, including quantities, downtime, and any technical issues.
• Assist with inventory control by reporting low stock or tracking material usage.
• Follow daily production schedules and meet output targets without compromising quality.
• Take pride in contributing to products that meet company and customer expectations.
• Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products for packaging or inspection.

Preferred:

• Understands the importance of minimizing downtime, waste, and safety risks on the factory floor.
• Comfortable meeting production quotas and efficiency targets while maintaining product quality.
• Values discipline, consistency, and safety in a structured production environment.
• Willing to perform cleaning, calibration, or minor repairs on equipment as part of shift duties.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical troubleshooting and the ability to report malfunctions to maintenance staff.

You’ll help resolve minor mechanical jams and notify maintenance teams of any equipment concerns. You’ll receive ongoing instruction in heat safety, lockout/tagout, and how to respond in case of equipment malfunction. You’ll rotate between different machines or departments depending on production needs and shift coverage. You’ll attend regular safety briefings, team huddles, and training updates to stay aligned with operational standards. You’ll work as part of a disciplined team where timing, accuracy, and communication are essential. You’ll be expected to stay focused and organized even during long or repetitive tasks under low supervision. Previous experience with industrial automation or production equipment is a strong plus.
