Looking for your first hands-on job? If you’ve never held a hammer, mixed concrete, or read a tape measure — don’t worry, we’ll teach you step by step. You’ll follow instructions, respect safety rules, and work with a team that counts on each other to get the job done right. We’ll walk you through the basics: how to stay safe, follow instructions, and respect the crew. You’ll show up on time, stay alert, and know that even small tasks — sweeping, measuring, moving materials — keep the project moving. You’ll gradually be introduced to hand tools and power tools — always under supervision to ensure you’re learning safely. You’ll develop strength, endurance, and confidence as you get into the rhythm of physical labor. You’ll work in the sun, the wind, sometimes the mud — but always with a crew that’s got your back. You’ll learn the importance of teamwork, punctuality, and clear communication on a construction site.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow all safety protocols—wearing PPE (hard hats, gloves, boots, goggles) and reporting hazards or incidents immediately.
• Assist with excavation, pouring foundations, framing, roofing, or paving work depending on the phase of construction.
• Maintain tools and equipment—cleaning, storing, and checking them for damage after each use.
• Ultimately, help build safe, functional structures by performing hands-on tasks that keep the project moving forward every day.
• Use hand signals or radios to communicate with crane or heavy equipment operators safely and clearly.

Preferred:

• Has basic math skills for measuring materials, reading levels, or interpreting dimensions.
• Values hard work, safety, and craftsmanship in the building process.
• Willing to help clean and prepare job sites before and after construction tasks.
• Willing to attend safety briefings, training sessions, or tool demos when required.
• Can assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or masons with their daily tasks.
