Description:

We’re looking for a Manual QA Tester who’s not afraid to click every button twice, think like a user, and ask, “What if someone tries this? You’ll be responsible for validating features, verifying edge cases, and ensuring every release meets our quality standards. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand how things are *supposed* to work — then test what actually happens. We expect you to test with empathy — not just “does it work,” but “does it make sense, feel smooth, and behave consistently? You’ll work closely with developers and designers to catch edge cases, clarify behavior, and ensure UI elements are fully responsive. You’ll report bugs clearly and with context — including device info, OS versions, screenshots, and steps to reproduce. You’ll test across browsers, devices, screen sizes, and user scenarios to uncover inconsistencies and edge cases. You’ll also keep track of multiple app versions and help manage testing timelines within the sprint. You’ll verify fixed issues, retest features after changes, and keep regression from creeping into stable builds. You’ll help build and maintain a checklist of real-world scenarios: switching apps, incoming calls, dark mode, accessibility, and more.

Basic Qualifications:

• Test web, mobile, or desktop applications manually to ensure features work as expected.
• Help onboard new QA testers by sharing tips, gotchas, and hidden bugs.
• Keep notes on known issues, tricky flows, or feature quirks for the team’s collective memory.
• Re-test failed scenarios and edge cases after every deployment or release.
• Document your findings in a way that makes sense even to someone who didn’t see the bug happen live.

Preferred:

• Willing to document steps, gather screenshots/videos, and collaborate with developers to isolate issues.
• Pays attention to UI/UX details, layout consistency, and basic functionality during exploratory testing.
• Can test for usability, accessibility, performance, and compatibility as needed by the project.
• Willing to participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Able to follow checklists and SOPs but also think critically to spot non-obvious issues.
