Description:

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Game Tester to join our team and help improve the quality of our games. You’ll be responsible for testing a wide range of game features, including gameplay mechanics, levels, multiplayer modes, and more. You’ll work closely with the development team to document and report any technical issues, ensuring they are fixed before release. You’ll collaborate closely with the development team to report and track bugs, assisting in troubleshooting and prioritizing fixes. You’ll assist in providing detailed feedback on user experience, providing input on game design, controls, and mechanics. You’ll be tasked with verifying fixes and updates, making sure new features are working correctly and do not introduce new problems. You’ll assist in testing multiplayer aspects, such as matchmaking, online play, and server performance, to ensure smooth interactions. You’ll participate in regular testing cycles, helping to ensure that all issues are addressed before the game is released to the public.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance fun and focus—game testing is playing with purpose, not just playing for fun.
• Monitor frame rates, load times, and crash reports to support performance testing and optimization efforts.
• Ultimately, help ship high-quality games by ensuring they work, feel good, and don’t crash right before the final boss.
• Play games from a user-first mindset, but test like a detective—curious, methodical, and thorough.
• Assist in localization testing by verifying in-game text, audio, or UI translations in multiple languages (if applicable).
