Description:

We’re looking for a Sales Assistant Trainee who’s eager to learn the art of customer service, communication, and retail operations — no experience required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to grow. You’ll be introduced to the basics of customer interaction, learning how to greet shoppers, offer assistance, and make every visitor feel welcome. You’ll be trained on how to handle transactions, operate the register, and assist with returns or exchanges professionally and politely. You’ll shadow experienced team members to learn how to handle payments, answer product questions, and resolve simple issues. We’ll teach you how to operate the till, scan items, process payments, and handle basic returns or exchanges. You’ll assist in setting up promotions, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring displays always look fresh and inviting. You’ll learn how to stay focused, calm, and helpful — even during peak hours or busy weekends. You’ll shadow team members to learn how to deal with complaints or questions in a calm, professional way. You’ll learn how to prioritize during busy periods and how to stay productive during quiet ones.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including counting the till and securing the store.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily sales goals and store targets.
• Tag, fold, or hang merchandise so everything looks presentation-ready.
• Participate in in-store events or promotions by helping with setup and customer engagement.
• Respond calmly to customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.

Preferred:

• Comfortable learning about new products, seasonal changes, or inventory updates quickly.
• Willing to assist with restocking, unpacking deliveries, and organizing shelves.
• Values customer satisfaction, teamwork, and efficiency in day-to-day tasks.
• Understands how to meet daily or weekly sales targets and contribute to store goals.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or front-facing sales environments.
