Description:

We’re welcoming a Nanny Intern who’s ready to learn how to care for children with patience, creativity, and responsibility. You’ll begin by supporting experienced caregivers with daily baby routines — diaper changes, feeding, burping, and nap time. You’ll support age-appropriate educational activities like counting games, shape sorting, basic reading, and memory-building exercises. You’ll help create a calm, stimulating space where children feel encouraged to ask questions and express themselves freely. You’ll be shown how to track small developmental milestones and support physical, social, and cognitive growth. You’ll observe how to introduce tummy time, age-appropriate sensory play, and gentle verbal engagement. You’ll learn how to adapt your tone and approach to different ages — from toddlers to early school-age children. You’ll learn how to guide behavior gently, using positive reinforcement and simple, clear boundaries. You’ll learn how to engage children in storytelling, crafts, games, and light educational exercises based on their age and needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use gentle discipline methods in line with the family's values and established rules.
• Manage your time effectively to balance play, meals, learning, and rest.
• Offer a consistent, comforting presence that children can rely on day after day.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support development, creativity, and learning.
• Handle minor injuries, illness symptoms, or tantrums calmly and responsibly.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Montessori Assistant, Childcare Manager, or Preschool Teacher.
• Enjoys helping children grow, learn, and feel secure in a loving and supportive environment.
• Respects family values, parenting style, and household rules while offering support and structure.
• Able to follow daily routines including feeding, naps, diaper changes, and playtime activities.
• Willing to assist with homework, school pickups/drop-offs, or extracurricular schedules as needed.
