Description:

We’re hiring a Loader Trainee who’s ready to build strength, coordination, and attention to detail while supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations. You’ll assist in unloading delivery trucks filled with construction materials like cement, bricks, tools, pipes, and lumber. You’ll assist in checking product labels, expiration dates, and storage instructions before organizing items by category. You’ll assist with sorting items by size, weight, or delivery route to keep everything organized and efficient. You’ll work alongside crane operators, forklift drivers, and logistics coordinators to stage goods safely and efficiently. You’ll support receiving by checking delivery slips and helping match materials to work orders or zone labels. You’ll support unloading procedures by stacking goods neatly, disposing of damaged packaging, and alerting supervisors to issues. You’ll assist in maintaining clean, organized staging areas so workers can access supplies quickly without tripping hazards. You’ll follow strict safety rules — from reflective vests to helmet use — and help maintain a clean, hazard-free dock area.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay focused and alert—especially in noisy or fast-moving environments like loading docks.
• Wear required protective gear like gloves, vests, and steel-toed boots during all tasks.
• Maintain a positive, dependable attitude—others count on your speed and accuracy.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks like sorting, staging, or cleaning when not actively loading.
• Work well under pressure and complete tasks within tight loading windows or dispatch times.

Preferred:

• Organized in keeping track of completed loads and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
• Willing to participate in cross-training or assist in packing, pallet wrapping, or sorting when required.
• Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and staying productive during long shifts.
• Familiar with handling a variety of goods including fragile, bulky, or hazardous materials as per instructions.
• Values hard work, reliability, and accuracy in physically demanding roles.

You’ll help with restocking shelves or staging areas, preparing the facility for the next day’s operations. You’ll rotate between receiving, staging, and shipping zones to understand the full flow of warehouse movement. You’ll learn how to maintain both speed and care under time pressure, especially when working with temperature-sensitive items. You’ll receive mentoring from seasoned logistics staff who’ll teach you the pace, rhythm, and systems of international freight.
