You’ll work closely with doctors, nurses, and caregivers — translating complex regimens into real-world routines. You’ll lead your team with clarity and purpose, making sure the pharmacy runs smoothly and ethically. You’ll turn a crowded waiting area into a space of trust, reassurance, and quiet efficiency. Basic Qualifications:

• Review prescriptions for completeness, legality, and accuracy—contacting physicians when clarification or substitutions are needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies, placing orders and managing stock to avoid shortages or expirations.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement of pharmacy processes.
• Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, DEA, local pharmacy boards) including controlled substance protocols.
• Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and support patients in understanding co-pays, prior authorizations, or formulary changes.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working in both community and clinical pharmacy environments.
• Can handle controlled substances responsibly in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Wants to grow into roles like Pharmacy Manager, Clinical Pharmacist, or Consultant Pharmacist.
• Willing to support wellness initiatives, medication therapy management (MTM), or chronic care programs.
• Keeps up with pharmaceutical research, new medications, and treatment guidelines.
