Description:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Online Job Application Assistant to support job seekers through the application process. You’ll help clients identify suitable job opportunities, tailor resumes, and craft compelling cover letters for each role. You’ll assist in crafting tailored resumes and cover letters that stand out and match each job description perfectly. You’ll help clients create standout resumes and cover letters, ensuring each one speaks directly to the job description. You’ll track job applications, sending reminders for deadlines, follow-up emails, and ensuring clients stay organized. You’ll help clients optimize their LinkedIn profiles and other online platforms to maximize visibility to recruiters. You’ll provide feedback and suggestions for improving application materials to maximize chances of landing an interview. You’ll assist clients in preparing for interviews by offering tips, mock interview questions, and confidence-building strategies. You’ll ensure clients’ applications are error-free and tailored to each job description, enhancing their chances of getting an interview.

Basic Qualifications:

• Optimize LinkedIn profiles or portfolios when needed, ensuring alignment with the application strategy.
• Track applications in an organized system (like Google Sheets, Notion, or Airtable) and follow up on deadlines, rejections, or interviews.
• Prepare and submit tailored job applications across platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and company career sites.
• Draft templates for emails, thank-you notes, or follow-up messages clients can send after applying or interviewing.
• Stay familiar with ATS-friendly formatting and help ensure resumes make it past screening bots.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to detail when filling out application forms to avoid errors or inconsistencies.
• Wants to grow into roles like Career Services Coordinator, Talent Support Specialist, or Virtual HR Assistant.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating a wide range of online platforms and tools.
• Familiar with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and understands how formatting affects parsing.
• Willing to research company backgrounds and help tailor responses accordingly.
