Description:

We’re hiring a Loader Trainee to support cargo handling at our maritime terminal — ideal for someone who’s physically ready, alert, and curious about large-scale global logistics. You’ll assist with unloading shipments that arrive late in the day, scanning and sorting goods into the correct zones. You’ll be taught how to lift and carry heavy items safely, using proper posture and teamwork for awkward or oversized loads. You’ll assist with sorting items by size, weight, or delivery route to keep everything organized and efficient. You’ll be trained to stack, cover, and secure materials to protect them from weather or accidental damage. You’ll support receiving by checking delivery slips and helping match materials to work orders or zone labels. You’ll support unloading procedures by stacking goods neatly, disposing of damaged packaging, and alerting supervisors to issues. You’ll be taught how to use pallet jacks, floor scales, and scanners to manage goods quickly and accurately. You’ll follow strict safety rules — from reflective vests to helmet use — and help maintain a clean, hazard-free dock area.

Basic Qualifications:

• Double-check load accuracy to reduce delays, returns, or safety issues down the line.
• Follow company procedures and safety protocols at all times—no shortcuts.
• Label and organize items correctly before they are loaded for shipping or storage.
• Maintain a positive, dependable attitude—others count on your speed and accuracy.
• Communicate with drivers, supervisors, or warehouse staff to coordinate loading activities.

Preferred:

• Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move heavy items consistently throughout the shift.
• Values hard work, reliability, and accuracy in physically demanding roles.
• Enjoys hands-on, movement-based work and being part of a results-driven logistics team.
• Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and staying productive during long shifts.
• Familiar with handling a variety of goods including fragile, bulky, or hazardous materials as per instructions.

You’ll help with restocking shelves or staging areas, preparing the facility for the next day’s operations.
