Description:

We’re looking for a highly motivated Lawyer Trainee who’s eager to learn the inner workings of legal practice from the ground up — no prior experience required, just a passion for justice and attention to detail. You’ll support our legal team by conducting research, summarizing statutes, and assisting with document preparation. We’ll teach you how to analyze laws, interpret contracts, and translate complex regulations into practical advice. You’ll help organize case materials, attend internal meetings, and take notes during strategy sessions. You’ll assist in collecting and reviewing evidence, timelines, and correspondence tied to both internal and client-side cases. We’ll show you how to research case law, summarize findings, and check for relevant legal precedents. You’ll assist with internal compliance tasks, legal audits, and documentation reviews. Expect to learn how to prioritize multiple cases, stay organized under pressure, and communicate updates efficiently. You’ll get exposure to contract lifecycle management — from drafting to execution and follow-up obligations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Conduct due diligence for mergers, investments, or real estate transactions as needed.
• Provide legal advice to clients based on thorough research, case law, and current regulations.
• Maintain impeccable ethical standards and client trust in every interaction.
• Handle sensitive or high-stakes matters with confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Break down complex legal language into clear, actionable information for non-lawyers.

Preferred:

• Capable of advising individuals or businesses on rights, obligations, and strategic decisions.
• Willing to attend hearings, depositions, or negotiations as needed for client representation.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, or legal opinions.
• Organized with time tracking, billing records, and document version control in firm environments.
• Capable of adapting to new legal tech tools like document automation, e-discovery, or client portals.
