Description:

We’re hiring a Construction Worker who isn’t afraid of hard work, early mornings, or getting their hands dirty to build something real. You’ll be working on real projects: apartments, stairwells, offices, new buildings — learning how to finish surfaces that people actually live and work in. You’ll start by learning basic site safety: how to wear PPE, how to lift properly, and how to move around a jobsite without getting hurt or getting in the way. You’ll use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and heavy materials — and we’ll train you to use each one safely and properly. You’ll help lay tile, float walls, apply primer, cut corners (with tape, not attitude), and understand how small errors lead to big rework. You’ll learn how to work with your hands, your eyes, and your level — because finishing work isn’t just muscle, it’s precision. You’ll work closely with a mentor who’s been in the field and knows how to guide beginners with patience. No two days are the same, and you’ll quickly learn how to adapt to different tasks and changing site conditions. You’ll start to notice things you never did before: crooked angles, air bubbles, loose grout, missed spots — and you’ll be the one to fix them.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow time tracking procedures and communicate schedule changes or delays with supervisors.
• Use hand signals or radios to communicate with crane or heavy equipment operators safely and clearly.
• Help with setting forms for concrete or aligning structural components during foundation and framing work.
• Help measure, cut, and install construction materials such as wood, drywall, insulation, piping, or rebar according to project plans.
• Work collaboratively with other crew members and show up on time ready to contribute to daily progress goals.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Skilled Laborer, Site Foreman, or General Contractor.
• Able to follow blueprints or verbal instructions from supervisors and foremen.
• Background or interest in construction, building, renovation, or skilled trades.
• Understands basic construction processes such as framing, pouring concrete, or demolition.
• Experience working on construction sites performing tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, or assisting tradespeople.
