Description:

We’re looking for a Nurse who leads with compassion and thinks on their feet — someone who brings calm to chaos and makes every patient feel safe, heard, and cared for. You’ll provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound management. You’ll handle trauma, cardiac events, overdoses, fevers, fractures, and everything in between — sometimes all in one shift. You’ll administer IVs, monitor vitals, manage pain, and assist with emergency procedures as part of a rapid-response team. You’ll be a key communicator with family members, helping them stay informed and involved in the care process. You’ll prepare patients for tests, provide pre- and post-op support, and make sure they understand what’s happening and why. You’ll also support junior staff, nursing assistants, and new team members by sharing knowledge and keeping workflows smooth. You’ll support teammates during surges, rely on protocols when seconds matter, and debrief difficult cases together after the fact. You’ll handle families with grace — providing updates, reassurance, and clear communication even under pressure.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support patients with activities of daily living when needed, such as bathing, feeding, or mobility assistance.
• Balance high caseloads while ensuring every patient feels seen and cared for.
• Help families understand conditions, comfort options, or end-of-life care with empathy.
• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions by checking vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Be the steady presence patients rely on—you’re the heartbeat of the care team.

Preferred:

• Proficient in monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting medical records accurately.
• Enjoys improving patient outcomes and contributing to a supportive clinical team.
• Organized with shift reports, charting, and handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) with up-to-date certifications.
• Can recognize early signs of patient deterioration and escalate appropriately.
