We’re looking for a Freelance Blog Writer who knows how to tell stories that actually get read — not skimmed, not ignored, not lost in the algorithm. You’re not here to stuff keywords or churn out generic copy — you care about voice, pacing, and making every sentence count. You’ll work independently but collaborate when needed, asking smart questions and bringing ideas to the table. You’re comfortable writing for different tones — from casual and witty to formal and authoritative — and can adjust your voice to suit the brand or audience. Whether it’s breaking down complex topics into easy steps or writing thought leadership pieces that sound smart but not pretentious, you’ve got range. You’ll be responsible for turning in clean, SEO-friendly copy on deadline, with internal links, smart formatting, and a strong sense of flow.

Basic Qualifications:

• Research and write clear, engaging blog posts on assigned topics that resonate with the target audience.
• Join occasional team calls or async discussions to align with editors, marketers, or SEO leads.
• Pitch fresh article ideas regularly based on trends, SEO opportunities, or gaps in existing content.
• Submit polished drafts by deadline and revise quickly based on editor or client feedback.
• Manage multiple assignments at once and communicate proactively if delays or blockers arise.

Preferred:

• Excited about freelancing flexibility while maintaining professionalism and quality.
• Understands the difference between informative, persuasive, and storytelling content.
• Open to writing across industries such as tech, wellness, finance, or lifestyle.
• Currently studying or has background in journalism, communications, or marketing.
