Description:
We’re hiring a Truck Driver Trainee for intercity and long-distance routes — no experience needed, just a license, steady hands, and a head for the road. You don’t need experience — just a valid license, a clean record, and the willingness to show up, learn fast, and take responsibility seriously. You’ll complete local and regional routes, staying alert, rested, and focused on every mile you drive. You’ll get familiar with route planning, weather checks, fuel strategy, and rest stops — because long-haul driving is 50% logistics, 50% discipline. You’ll be trained in how to inspect your truck before and after each trip, keeping safety first whether it’s 5am or midnight. You’ll practice smart braking, smooth gear work, cornering with a loaded trailer, and staying mentally sharp over long hours behind the wheel. You’ll be taught how to talk with dispatch, stay organized, and solve problems calmly when schedules or weather don’t go your way. You’ll represent the company on the road, at docks, and with customers — and your professionalism makes the first impression. You’ll be trained to balance drive time, rest breaks, fuel stops, and drop-offs without cutting corners or breaking rules.
Basic Qualifications:
- Maintain professionalism and reliability—showing up on time and representing the company well at each stop.
- Stay current on CDL endorsements, medical exams, and regulatory requirements to maintain legal driving status.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding arrival times, delays, or special delivery instructions.
- Demonstrate safe driving behavior in all conditions—night, rain, snow, urban, or rural.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while remaining flexible to adjust for weather, traffic, or road conditions.
Preferred:
- Capable of keeping detailed and accurate trip reports, fuel receipts, and maintenance logs.
- Open to flexible work hours, night driving, weekends, or long-distance routes if required.
- Enjoys the freedom of the road and playing a key role in keeping goods moving.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type (Class A, B, or C).
- Proven experience operating long-haul, local, or regional trucks safely and efficiently.
Benefits:
- Modern, well-maintained trucks with the features drivers actually want.
- Home time that’s respected, not "pending dispatch approval."
- Paid layovers, bonuses for clean records, and mileage that makes sense.
- Fuel cards, toll reimbursements, and hotel stays covered — not on you.
- Every route is a new adventure, not just another commute.
You’ll see that long-distance drivers are more than movers — they’re mobile professionals who keep business flowing across the country. You’ll experience your first solo runs — with backup always one call away, and a team ready to help if anything goes wrong. You’ll receive continued guidance in your first weeks on the job: safety checks, paperwork review, and post-delivery debriefs to keep learning. You’ll track your logs, keep your cab clean, and learn the value of being someone dispatch can always rely on — especially on overnight runs. You’ll be part of a team, but also learn what it means to be self-directed, self-aware, and self-disciplined out there on the open road. You’ll earn respect by doing the job right — not loud, not fast, just right — mile after mile. You’ll go home tired, but proud — knowing that what you moved helped someone build, sell, fix, or feed. If you’re looking for real training, real support, and a real job at the end — not just another promise — this is your first mile.
