Description:

We’re hiring a Photographer / Videographer Trainee to assist on fashion, portrait, and lifestyle shoots — no experience required, just a good eye and passion for capturing people beautifully. You’ll assist in capturing beautiful moments across cities, nature, people, food, and real life — from rooftops to remote roads. We’ll teach you how to frame portraits, manage natural and studio light, and direct models and clients with confidence and care. You’ll work with minimal gear — natural light, soft microphones, handheld cameras — to find beauty in simplicity. You’ll learn the basics of landscape, street, and action videography — and how to find beauty in movement, rhythm, and stillness. We’ll show you how to film emotional beats, joyful chaos, and still make everything feel cinematic and personal. You’ll also help document trips: packing shots, behind-the-scenes, cultural moments, and day-to-day experiences for social platforms. You’ll assist with organizing footage, backing up files, and keeping shoots efficient and professional. We’ll also teach you the basics of editing: color correction, trimming, transitions, and how to export clean content for Reels, YouTube, and TikTok.

Basic Qualifications:

• Plan and execute photo and video shoots based on client needs, moodboards, or creative briefs.
• Direct talent or subjects during shoots to create natural, compelling results.
• Take direction well, but also offer ideas that can elevate the final product.
• Deliver assets in various formats and resolutions depending on platform (web, print, social).
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments when relevant for additional content value.

Preferred:

• Experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras for photography and video production.
• Background or passion in visual storytelling, film, photography, or content production.
• Willing to travel, carry equipment, and handle on-set logistics as needed.
• Knows how to manually adjust shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and white balance for creative control.
• Pays close attention to visual consistency, sharpness, and storytelling in all media.
