Description:

We’re looking for a Web Designer Trainee who’s passionate about digital creativity and eager to learn how to build websites that feel as good as they look — no experience needed, just imagination and a willingness to grow. You’ll help transform brand guidelines into intuitive, engaging, and consistent web experiences. We’ll teach you how to work with style guides, design systems, and brand guidelines to stay visually consistent. You’ll learn how to structure web content with clarity, balancing whitespace, typography, and visual flow. Expect to participate in brainstorming sessions where you’ll sketch out ideas before moving to digital tools like Figma or Adobe XD. You’ll collaborate with developers to ensure your designs are both creative and technically feasible. We’ll guide you through mobile-first thinking, web accessibility, and how to keep users at the center of every decision. You’ll assist in organizing design files, preparing assets, and contributing to brand consistency across web pages. We’ll help you gather feedback from users or stakeholders and adjust your designs accordingly.

Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly with remote or cross-functional teams about priorities and expectations.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and explain the thinking behind your choices.
• Help optimize load times by creating lightweight assets and considering performance in your design.
• Take pride in the work users interact with every day—your designs shape their entire journey.
• Work within design systems or help create new ones to ensure consistency across pages.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in web design, UI/UX, graphic design, or digital product development.
• Enjoys transforming ideas into visually engaging and intuitive digital interfaces.
• Understands how to align web design with SEO, conversion goals, or marketing funnels.
• Open to conducting basic usability tests or A/B testing to validate design effectiveness.
• Familiar with UX principles, user flows, and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
