Description:

We’re hiring a Cook who enjoys working in a small, close-knit kitchen — someone who’s flexible, friendly, and takes pride in turning simple ingredients into great meals. You’ll prep ingredients, follow recipes, and execute dishes that are consistent, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You’ll work alongside a kitchen team, communicating clearly and keeping the pace steady during slow hours and busy rushes alike. You’ll keep your station clean, ingredients fresh, and workflow efficient no matter how busy it gets. You’ll rotate stock, label ingredients, and track freshness to keep the kitchen running safely and efficiently. You’ll manage prep lists, portioning, and rotation with discipline and a good eye for quality control. You’ll communicate clearly with servers, making sure orders go out hot, accurate, and on time. You’ll help with prep lists, write labels, and be ready to suggest ideas when the menu changes or specials pop up. You’ll follow kitchen systems while also bringing initiative — refilling, cleaning, and jumping in wherever needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist in prepping ingredients for upcoming shifts or special events when needed.
• Handle kitchen equipment properly and report any malfunctions or hazards immediately.
• Communicate clearly with servers, hosts, or managers when delays or issues arise.
• Leave the kitchen better than you found it, every single shift.
• Label and date all prepped items and store them correctly in fridges or dry storage.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment under pressure during busy hours.
• Thrives in high-energy, collaborative environments where food is made with care.
• Follows safety rules to prevent cross-contamination, burns, or accidents in the kitchen.
• Comfortable multitasking across prep, cooking, and cleanup responsibilities.
• Can assist with batch cooking, sauces, marinades, and dressings for daily service needs.
