Description:

We’re offering a position for a Security System Installer Trainee — no experience required, just a calm, focused mindset and a desire to do meaningful work. You’ll ride along with trained techs, visiting homes, offices, warehouses, and retail stores to help install real security systems. We’ll start you with the basics: how to use tools safely, run cable through walls, and follow installation diagrams. You’ll learn how to drill with precision, mount devices neatly, and run wires where they’ll never be noticed but always matter. You’ll learn to set up motion sensors, door contacts, alarm panels, and video doorbells step by step. You’ll quickly get familiar with ladders, cordless drills, testers, crimpers, and labelers — all tools of the trade. You’ll also assist with connecting systems to Wi-Fi, testing zones, and making sure clients know how to use their systems. You’ll be part of real-world installs in homes, stores, and offices, seeing how we turn plans into protection. We’ll show you how to set up alarms, test emergency alerts, and confirm every zone works exactly as planned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work with team members or independently, depending on the job size.
• Update firmware or configure apps when smart systems are involved.
• Install security systems like cameras, motion detectors, and alarm panels in homes and businesses.
• Respect the client's property—clean up after the work is done.
• Diagnose system errors using testing devices or software.

Preferred:

• Willing to work with residential, commercial, or industrial clients depending on project needs.
• Pays close attention to detail to ensure all components are correctly positioned and functioning.
• Willing to travel to job sites and manage multiple installs per week with minimal supervision.
• Enjoys solving problems and working with both hardware and software tools.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair faulty hardware or signal issues during or after installation.
