Description:

We’re welcoming a motivated Architect Trainee to join our design studio and learn how great spaces are imagined, refined, and realized — no experience necessary, just passion and a sharp eye. You’ll assist in creating floor plans, massing studies, and digital models that support early design exploration. We’ll teach you how to translate vision into visuals — from bubble diagrams to digital renders and physical models. You’ll work closely with senior architects to understand how every line on a plan has meaning, function, and consequence. Expect to work with design tools like Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop — we’ll support your learning every step of the way. You’ll gain exposure to sustainable architecture principles, passive design techniques, and energy-conscious planning. We’ll teach you how to use architecture software like Revit, Enscape, and Illustrator to communicate your vision. You’ll explore how light, form, and circulation impact human experience within the built environment. You’ll participate in team critiques, where your ideas will be challenged and shaped in a collaborative spirit.

Basic Qualifications:

• Track hours, billing, and project milestones if managing multiple jobs.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients throughout every phase of the project.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants for seamless integration.
• Balance beauty and practicality—your designs should inspire, but also get built.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate progress and ensure design specifications are being followed.

Preferred:

• Experienced in producing detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details.
• Enjoys solving spatial challenges and creating meaningful, lasting structures.
• Capable of conducting site visits, taking measurements, and collaborating with engineers and contractors.
• Comfortable creating architectural visualizations, 3D models, and presentation boards for client review.
• Familiar with zoning laws, permitting processes, and sustainable building practices.
