Description:

We’re looking for a Sales Assistant Trainee who’s eager to learn the art of customer service, communication, and retail operations — no experience required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to grow. You’ll work alongside experienced team members, greeting customers, answering questions, and helping them find the right products or services. You’ll be trained on how to handle transactions, operate the register, and assist with returns or exchanges professionally and politely. You’ll gradually learn to take initiative — greeting guests, answering questions, and offering support during their shopping experience. We’ll teach you how to operate the till, scan items, process payments, and handle basic returns or exchanges. You’ll also observe how sales targets work and how individual performance contributes to team success. You’ll shadow experienced staff and gradually take on more direct responsibility as your comfort level increases. You’ll be part of team meetings, where you'll learn how promotions, seasonal products, and store strategy are communicated. You’ll learn how to prioritize during busy periods and how to stay productive during quiet ones.

Basic Qualifications:

• Answer questions about products, promotions, or return policies with confidence and clarity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout throughout the day.
• Greet customers warmly and help them find products that fit their needs or style.
• Offer personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and current trends.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and follow store protocol for loss prevention.

Preferred:

• Open to flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to follow store security procedures and assist with loss prevention efforts.
• Background or interest in retail, fashion, electronics, home goods, or specialty sales.
• Thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments with a positive team spirit.
• Can provide feedback to managers about customer preferences or frequently asked questions.
