Description:

We’re looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our remote team and produce visually compelling video content. You’ll be responsible for editing raw footage, adding sound effects, music, and creating polished videos that align with our brand vision. You’ll collaborate with the content team to develop ideas and implement creative strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. You’ll ensure that all videos are edited to a high standard, maintaining consistency, visual appeal, and engagement. You’ll ensure that videos are engaging, well-paced, and visually appealing, adhering to brand guidelines and objectives. You’ll work on a variety of video projects, including promotional videos, tutorials, and social media content, tailored to specific platforms. You’ll add motion graphics, transitions, and text overlays to create visually compelling videos that capture the audience’s attention. You’ll manage the video editing process from start to finish, ensuring smooth transitions, color correction, and audio balancing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep backup files and export presets handy so work isn’t lost and render time is efficient.
• Provide rough cuts, versions, and final renders with clear communication on what’s included and what needs review.
• Support marketing or sales teams with repurposed content from webinars, interviews, or long-form assets.
• Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality, speed, and creative energy.
• Follow brand guidelines (fonts, colors, tone) while leaving room for flair and experimentation.

Preferred:

• Understands the importance of hooks, retention, and first-3-second engagement on social platforms.
• Open to feedback and quick to revise based on direction or creative briefs.
• Willing to stay updated on editing trends and content performance.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Familiar with adding royalty-free music, sound effects, and voiceovers where needed.
