As a Remote Onboarding Specialist, you’ll be the first friendly face (or voice) our new hires meet — and that matters. You believe the first week at a company should be exciting, not confusing. From welcome emails to Zoom calls, you’ll guide new employees through every step of their onboarding journey. You’re not just organized — you’re empathetic, knowing how to make someone feel like they belong from the start. You’ll schedule kickoff calls, coordinate orientation materials, and keep everyone in the loop (without overwhelming them). Think of yourself as the host of a virtual welcome party — making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and set up for success. Clarity, kindness, and timing will be your superpowers. You’ll partner with different departments to align onboarding with real-world workflows and expectations. You’ll keep tabs on multiple onboarding tracks without dropping the ball, thanks to your next-level follow-up skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with HR, IT, and team leads to make sure everything is ready before the new hire’s start date.
• Track metrics like time-to-productivity, engagement in the first month, or completion of onboarding steps.
• Celebrate new hire milestones—first week, first project, first win—to keep energy and motivation high.
• Be proactive—anticipate what new hires might need before they ask and get ahead of potential issues.
• Help managers prepare onboarding plans tailored to each role so new hires know what success looks like.

Preferred:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to answer common questions about company policies, systems, or benefits.
• Experience preparing welcome kits, orientation schedules, and FAQ documents.
• Able to explain procedures, tools, and company culture in a clear, welcoming way.
• Experience guiding new hires or clients through onboarding processes remotely.
