Description:

We’re hiring a Warehouse Clerk Trainee who’s ready to learn how to keep a busy warehouse organized, efficient, and running smoothly from the inside out. You’ll start by helping sort incoming inventory, scanning barcodes, and updating stock levels in the digital system. You’ll learn how to pick items for customer orders using handheld devices and packing slips. You’ll help pick and pack overnight orders, prepping them for early-morning courier pickups or dispatch. You’ll help organize products by category, rotation date, and shelf life to ensure accurate stock levels and freshness. You’ll support order picking and packing using insulated packaging, dry ice, or gel packs where required. You’ll learn how to handle fragile, oversized, or bundled orders with the appropriate packaging method. You’ll be part of cycle counts, inventory checks, and reporting discrepancies that often go unnoticed during busy hours. You’ll assist with inventory tracking systems and barcode scanners to log cargo status in real time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly with coworkers, delivery drivers, and team leads to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare shipping documents, barcodes, and tracking labels accurately for outgoing shipments.
• Take initiative to improve workflow or solve small issues before they escalate.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and help reconcile stock records with physical counts.

Preferred:

• Able to label, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing inventory according to warehouse procedures.
• Capable of picking, packing, and staging orders based on packing slips or digital instructions.
• Values reliability, accuracy, and teamwork in operational environments.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners, barcode systems, or warehouse management software (WMS).
• Background or interest in logistics, supply chain operations, or inventory management.

You’ll support regular inventory checks, helping to count stock with gloves and scanners in cold conditions. You’ll receive safety training specific to overnight work — from equipment use to staying alert during long, quiet stretches. You’ll rotate between indoor storage zones and airfield-side ramps, learning how cargo flows from plane to shelf and back again. You’ll move throughout the warehouse, often on your feet, so stamina and attention to detail go hand-in-hand. You’ll receive mentorship and regular feedback, building skills in speed, coordination, and international shipment handling.
