Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher for our night shift — perfect for someone who prefers quiet hours, steady tasks, and takes pride in leaving the kitchen spotless for the next day. You’ll be responsible for washing plates, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans using both industrial machines and manual methods. You’ll assist in unpacking, setting up, and operating mobile dish stations in temporary kitchens or prep tents. You’ll wash plates, glasses, flatware, and serving equipment during and after events, keeping everything organized in real time. You’ll help empty and sanitize trash bins, recycling, and compost stations as part of end-of-day procedures. You’ll empty trash, recycling, and food waste bins regularly, following safety and cleanliness standards. You’ll assist with end-of-day cleanup, including sweeping, wiping equipment, emptying trash, and removing food waste. You’ll be trained to operate commercial dish machines and follow health department safety guidelines. You’ll be trained to operate mobile dish machines, water heaters, and sanitizers specific to field service.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish pit and surrounding areas throughout the shift.
• Keep calm during busy hours and help others when your area is under control.
• Take pride in keeping the backbone of the kitchen running quietly and efficiently.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures and temperature guidelines to ensure food safety compliance.
• Follow restaurant health and safety standards at all times, including wearing proper footwear.

Preferred:

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or cafeteria setting as a dishwasher or kitchen helper.
• Can manage chemical refills, dish machine upkeep, or drainage as instructed by supervisors.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy racks, and bend frequently throughout shifts.
• Enjoys contributing to the success of the team through behind-the-scenes work.
• Able to maintain a steady pace during high-volume shifts and peak meal service times.

You’ll rotate between tasks to avoid burnout and maintain energy through repetitive work. You’ll rotate shifts that may include early breakfast prep, weekend events, or evening banquets.
