Description:

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Online English Tutor to help students develop their English language skills. You’ll be responsible for teaching English to students of all ages, providing personalized instruction based on their proficiency level. You’ll assess each student’s level and tailor lessons to meet their specific language learning goals and needs. You’ll work with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners, helping them build their confidence in using English. You’ll help students with pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary building, and conversational English, adapting lessons to their interests. You’ll assist with exam preparation, helping students review for tests like TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge English exams. You’ll create a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters student confidence and engagement. You’ll work with students to help them prepare for English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, and others.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collect feedback after sessions and make improvements based on student needs and preferences.
• Provide regular updates to parents (for younger learners) or progress summaries for adult learners upon request.
• Incorporate current events, pop culture, or student interests into lessons to keep content relatable and fresh.
• Ultimately, help learners feel more confident, fluent, and empowered to use English in real-world situations.
• Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group lessons over Zoom, Skype, or teaching platforms tailored to students' levels and goals.

Preferred:

• Can adapt teaching style for kids, teens, or adults depending on age and learning style.
• Interested in continuous learning and improving teaching techniques.
• Knows how to give constructive feedback and correct mistakes without discouraging students.
• Able to manage one-on-one or small group sessions remotely with professionalism.
• Understands how to build engaging lesson plans based on student goals and interests.
