Description:

We’re hiring a Caregiver for overnight shifts — perfect for someone who’s calm, dependable, and committed to ensuring clients are safe and comfortable while they rest. You’ll assist older adults with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, always with sensitivity to their mobility and comfort levels. You’ll be trained to follow care plans that may include sensory support, behavioral cues, communication tools, and therapy exercises. You’ll work alongside nurses, hospice teams, and family members to honor the individual’s wishes and care plan. You’ll help with walking, transferring from bed or chair, and using walkers or canes safely around the home. You’ll assist with checking on breathing patterns, temperature comfort, or medical equipment if required. You’ll assist with gentle housekeeping, meal prep (if needed), and creating a peaceful environment in the client’s space. You’ll be trained in safe transfer techniques, including the use of walkers, wheelchairs, or mobility aids. You’ll support families by offering updates, reassurance, or simply relieving them for a few hours of rest.

Basic Qualifications:

• Track activities, meals, mood, and care tasks in logs if required by family or agency.
• Respect the dignity, privacy, and independence of clients in all interactions.
• Follow hygiene and infection control standards to protect both client and caregiver.
• Administer medications according to schedule and keep accurate records if required.

Preferred:

• Able to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while respecting the dignity and privacy of clients.
• Willing to perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Can support individuals with dementia, limited mobility, or chronic conditions with patience and attentiveness.
• Background or passion in healthcare, elder care, disability support, or home assistance.
• Values empathy, responsibility, and reliability in caregiving roles.
