Description:

We’re looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You’ll be responsible for conducting manual tests, identifying bugs, and helping the development team resolve issues quickly. You’ll assist in creating and maintaining detailed test plans, ensuring all features are thoroughly tested across different devices and platforms. You’ll assist in preparing test plans and cases, making sure all features are thoroughly tested before launch. You’ll report bugs and issues, providing detailed steps to reproduce and working with the development team to address them. You’ll report defects in a clear and concise manner, working with developers to verify fixes and prevent future issues. You’ll collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and develop appropriate testing strategies. You’ll participate in sprint meetings, providing feedback on product features and sharing insights on possible testing risks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly in remote or async teams—flagging blockers, confirming fixes, and asking clarifying questions early.
• Retest fixed bugs and verify they no longer occur—closing the feedback loop with clarity.
• Report bugs clearly and concisely in tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp—attaching screenshots, steps to reproduce, and expected vs actual results.
• Learn how to test for accessibility, performance, and mobile behavior—QA goes beyond "does it work?"
• Test across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure consistent behavior and responsiveness.

Preferred:

• Pays close attention to details and enjoys finding inconsistencies or edge cases.
• Can follow test plans and checklists to ensure features meet requirements.
• Understands the importance of testing from the user’s perspective.
• Interested in continuous improvement of testing strategies and workflows.
• Experience using tools like Jira, TestRail, or Trello to log and track issues.
