Description:

We’re hiring a talented and creative Video Editor to join our remote team and produce high-impact videos for various platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing raw footage into compelling videos that align with the brand’s message and goals. You’ll collaborate with the content team to develop ideas and implement creative strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. You’ll ensure that all videos are edited to a high standard, maintaining consistency, visual appeal, and engagement. You’ll ensure the video content is engaging, visually compelling, and optimized for each platform, from YouTube to Instagram and beyond. You’ll work on a variety of video projects, including promotional videos, tutorials, and social media content, tailored to specific platforms. You’ll work with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro to produce high-quality video content. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple video projects at once, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Deliver on time, communicate clearly, and own your workflow independently in a remote setting.
• Color-correct, audio-balance, and export videos in platform-specific formats (e.g., vertical for Reels/TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube).
• Create intro/outro animations, lower thirds, or branded overlays that reinforce visual identity without overwhelming the viewer.
• Support marketing or sales teams with repurposed content from webinars, interviews, or long-form assets.
• Adapt your editing style to suit different clients—clean and corporate vs. bold and Gen Z, depending on the brief.

Preferred:

• Able to work with various footage formats, frame sizes, and aspect ratios.
• Understands the importance of hooks, retention, and first-3-second engagement on social platforms.
• Background or interest in film, media, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Pays attention to detail in timing, rhythm, and smooth scene transitions.
• Able to work with motion graphics, templates, or basic animation (e.g., After Effects).

You’ll provide regular updates on video progress and communicate clearly with the team to ensure project goals are being met. You’ll assist with creating and managing video libraries, organizing assets for easy access by the team.
