Looking for your first hands-on job? If you’ve never worked on a job site before, that’s okay — we’ll teach you everything from the ground up. You’ll begin with essential safety training, including how to wear protective gear and move safely on site. You’ll use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and heavy materials — and we’ll train you to use each one safely and properly. You’ll help lay tile, float walls, apply primer, cut corners (with tape, not attitude), and understand how small errors lead to big rework. Every tool you touch — we’ll teach you how to use it properly and safely, step by step. You’ll work closely with a mentor who’s been in the field and knows how to guide beginners with patience. Expect to break a sweat, get your hands dirty, and feel like you accomplished something by the end of each day. You’ll see how real buildings go up — not from textbooks, but from teamwork and effort.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to physically demanding tasks over extended periods.
• Participate in ongoing training for certifications like OSHA, flagging, or equipment operation if required.
• Ultimately, help build safe, functional structures by performing hands-on tasks that keep the project moving forward every day.
• Assist with various construction tasks such as digging trenches, loading/unloading materials, mixing concrete, and cleaning job sites.
• Maintain tools and equipment—cleaning, storing, and checking them for damage after each use.

• Enjoys working with their hands and seeing real progress at the end of each day.
• Thrives in active, physical environments with clear goals and strong teamwork.
• Familiar with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., drills, saws, hammers).
