Description:

We’re hiring a skilled Translation Specialist to join our team and provide accurate and culturally relevant translations for a variety of content. You’ll be responsible for translating a wide range of content, including legal, technical, and marketing materials. You’ll work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure that all translations are culturally appropriate and on-brand. You’ll work on translating documents, websites, marketing materials, and more, ensuring that the original meaning is preserved. You’ll manage multiple translation projects, ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising quality. You’ll provide proofreading and editing services, ensuring that all translations are error-free and meet client requirements. You’ll work with various languages and specialties, including legal, medical, and technical documents, providing expert knowledge where needed. You’ll work closely with content creators, marketing, and legal teams to ensure translations meet project needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle confidential documents responsibly, following any required NDAs or data protection guidelines.
• Use CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ, Smartcat) or translation memory systems to improve efficiency and maintain terminology.
• Track projects, versions, and feedback using spreadsheets, Trello, or translation platforms for organized delivery.
• Translate written content accurately from one language to another, ensuring meaning, tone, and cultural nuance are preserved.
• Support multilingual teams by offering guidance on phrasing, tone, or cultural sensitivity where needed.

Preferred:

• Excited to help individuals and organizations reach new audiences through language.
• Capable of handling tight deadlines while maintaining high linguistic quality.
• Comfortable researching industry-specific terms to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Can deliver translations in common formats like Word, Excel, Google Docs, or subtitles (.srt).
• Background or interest in linguistics, communication, international business, or literature.
