Description:

We’re hiring a Security Guard Trainee for a shopping mall environment — perfect for someone who’s observant, approachable, and ready to keep public spaces safe and orderly. You’ll begin by assisting with entry point monitoring — checking tickets, wristbands, and personal belongings according to event policy. You’ll assist in greeting residents, answering basic questions, and directing deliveries or guests to the right apartments or zones. You’ll assist in checking security cameras, reporting maintenance issues, and helping prevent theft or vandalism. You’ll help conduct quiet patrols through parking areas, hallways, stairwells, and shared amenities like gyms or laundry rooms. You’ll learn how to recognize signs of unauthorized entry, property damage, or suspicious activity and report them promptly. You’ll assist in reuniting lost guests with their groups and managing minor disputes or confusion in the crowd. You’ll assist in crowd control, helping maintain order during events, busy periods, or emergencies. You’ll assist in documenting incidents clearly and submitting reports to supervisors in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:

• Remain composed and professional under pressure or during conflict situations.
• Respond diplomatically but firmly when confronting suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Support evacuations or lockdowns according to emergency preparedness procedures.
• Adapt quickly to new sites, protocols, or technologies as required by the job.
• Use radios or mobile devices to stay in contact with other guards or supervisors.

Preferred:

• Understands basic conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
• Maintains a professional appearance and respectful attitude when interacting with staff, guests, or the public.
• Understands the balance between enforcing rules and maintaining a calm, welcoming presence.
• Values responsibility, vigilance, and professionalism in every shift.
• Valid security license or guard card (if required by local regulations) and familiarity with basic security procedures.
