Description:

We’re accepting applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technician internship — ideal for someone who values structure, precision, and a methodical approach to learning. You don’t need to have years of experience — just a careful mindset, a willingness to follow procedures, and a true respect for accuracy. You’ll be trained in how to handle biological samples with care, label them correctly, and avoid the small mistakes that can make a big difference. You’ll run routine tests, special orders, and the occasional urgent request that comes with zero room for error. You’ll be trained to understand how lab results influence diagnoses, and why getting it right — even behind the scenes — changes everything. You’ll help doctors make decisions, not by guessing — but by delivering data that’s accurate and timely. , CLIA, ISO, or local regulations). You’ll be expected to log every step of your workflow, track time precisely, and note anomalies clearly during shadowed procedures. You’ll learn to handle human error, avoid contamination, and recover with confidence when something doesn’t go as planned. You’ll ensure that every label matches, every control passes, and every abnormal flag is reviewed properly.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ensure all documentation is completed clearly and accurately for regulatory compliance and patient safety.
  • Record and report test results accurately into laboratory information systems (LIS), ensuring timely delivery to physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in internal audits, external inspections (e.g., CLIA, CAP), and staff training sessions to ensure lab compliance and quality.
  • Troubleshoot instrument errors or test inconsistencies and escalate complex issues to senior lab personnel or equipment vendors.
  • Respect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and institutional privacy policies when accessing or transmitting sensitive data.

Preferred:

  • Experience performing routine laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, or clinical chemistry.
  • Enjoys supporting diagnosis and patient care through accurate and timely lab work.
  • Able to calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments according to schedules.
  • Values precision, reliability, and adherence to scientific and ethical standards.
  • Pays close attention to accuracy, repeatability, and turnaround time when conducting tests.

Benefits:

  • We maintain strict safety protocols, consistent scheduling, and real-time communication — your time and health matter.
  • Your consistency, clarity, and sterile technique are recognized, not taken for granted.
  • You’ll work in a calm, respectful setting where science and care meet.
  • Structured shifts that respect your focus and minimize distractions — because precision needs peace.
  • You’ll handle real biological samples — blood, tissue, fluids — and deliver data physicians rely on.

You’ll juggle repetition and responsibility without losing patience or letting things slide. You’ll receive feedback, ask lots of questions, and be encouraged to slow down when the task requires it. You’ll learn how to work efficiently without rushing, and how to prioritize accuracy over speed when it counts most. You’ll have moments of routine, but also those small “a-ha” insights when something finally clicks — and we’ll celebrate that with you. You won’t just run tests — you’ll ensure the integrity of every result that leaves your workstation. You’ll leave each shift knowing you contributed to something bigger, even if you never saw the patient face-to-face. If you’re serious about building a real future in laboratory science — and ready to start with full focus and full humility — we’d love to train you. You’ll begin as an observer, but you’re expected to grow into a contributor — someone trusted to perform basic procedures to protocol. If you’re ready to build serious technical habits, work under strict standards, and grow in a professional medical lab setting — we’re ready to train you properly.
